We carry out all types of maintenance and repairs on all cars and light commercial vehicles and any queries to contact us. Here are just some of the services we offer.
Servicing and scheduled maintenance
At C & L Motortech we can carry out all vehicle services or inspections in line with manufacture guidelines. We also have all the relevant service tools to reset service lights.
If your vehicle is still within the manufactures warranty we are also able to keep your vehicle up to date on servicing. By using genuine parts it keeps the warranty valid. So why go to the dealer and be charged anywhere up to £120 per hour?

Air conditioning including odour and antibacterial cleaning
If your vehicles air conditioning isn’t quite as cool as it once was it may be time to have your air con system serviced. We would advise to have the system serviced once a year to keep it running efficiently. As the refrigerant level drops over time the system has to work harder to keep the air cool. This leads to your fuel efficiency to drop as it also puts more loads on the engine. An air conditioning service costs from £65. If the system is empty when we come to service the system we are able to carry out a pressure test to the system to see if a component has failed or leaking. Then we can advise you on the repair required.
Don’t put up with nasty smells in your vehicle. Those unpleasant smells are likely to be coming from your air conditioning system. Bacteria can build up over a period of time in the vents and circulate around your car. Our antibacterial cleaning eradicates 99% of bacteria in the air conditioning system leaving your car smelling fresh again.

Brake repairs
You may want to have your brake system checked before an MOT or before a long journey or part of ongoing routine service. We can carry out an inspection and determine what is required to make your brakes as efficient as possible. The brake pads and discs are measured against manufacturers’ specifications, also the fluid level and condition are checked. We advise only the best quality of brakes to be fitted. But we can offer cheaper alternatives if these are a little hard on your budget.
Light conversions
We offer light conversions from US to UK spec. The price will depend on the vehicle you have. Please stop by for a quotation and we will happily to show you what a conversion entails and the cost.
We can also carryout the MOT or SVA as required.
We also carry out conversions back to US spec so its back to how it was originally.
MOT testing
We offer on site class 4 MOT testing station in house.
